We just finished up with our first week on the radio waves of Trujillo. We have a one hour program 3 times a week on a local fm station. Radio Renovacion 91.5 is the home of the grace hour Trujillo. We are on from 10.30 to 11.30 in the morning. Pastor Julio does the show on thursday's then on friday and saturdays myself and ifrene (my translator) are on reaching the people with the gospel. The theme for the last two days have been the finished work, mercy, and grace.... Lets be reaching the people with truth. We have plans next week to take a microphone to the streets to ask people tough questions, and then put it on the air and talk about there answers verses what God says. We want to reach people through different avenues, and really get people thinking about who they are and where they are going.... God is good in these days, thank you lord for the oppurtunity's you give us to reach people. If you could be praying for our church here and for the Lord to lead new people in through evangelism, radio, and television. We are planning to have a program for 35 min. on the local tv. station in 2 weeks.. Its not a christian station, but we are going to just preach grace!!!! God bless, thank u for your prayers... Praise the Lord!!!

The Time is Now!!!!
Want to say thanks to all my friends with the encouraging words that were posted. Smithers, Jedge, Flange, Liz, Dee, and Uncle Bob, I appreciate it...
The days here have been speeding by, full of events, activity, and anticipation for the next thing. but in all it there has been a sense of living for the moment. Its so easy to be allways concerned for the next event in while doing it u miss out on the now. I wonder if some people live there lives this way, always expecting the next event will be "The One", The next event in life is what I have been building up to my entire life. But when they arrive they are ready to move onto the next very shortly after arriving. Paul said "In all things i have learned to be content." With God we always have a great anticipation for the future with excitement, but we learn to have a quiteness and contentment with what God has me in today. Whatever it may be. It could be doing nominal tasks in our lives that must be completed, but with the lord those can be the most important times. God is in the now and he wants to meet here in this place even with my anxious, restless soul. Brother Lawrence said, in my words, that even in the loud confusing world around me with many goals and destinations I can develop a quiet soul that can hear from God, and that is priceless. When God communions with us we dont care where we are, we know we have all things in Him. There really cant be anything that could add to what I have in the Lord, and that includes the next event. That gives us great peace, and contentment. With spiritual people it always seems that they get so much done in there lives, they are never in a rush, and they seem that they have so much time on there hands. They are never really pushing to go to the next step to quickly. When they talk to you, they genuinly seem to care what u are saying to them. They listen to you as if you are the only that matters. U think to yourself, this person has so much in there life, and they are listening to what i have to say with alot of interest, amazing. I think its because they have learned that God meets them in the now. God wants communion at 6 in the morning just as much as he does at 11 in the morning or 4 in the afternoon, and when i live in the now it produces a sense of direction, purpose and peace in even normal activities. Could it be that they have communion with the Lord through the day, and he supplies what they need, I think so.... God is the God of right Now!!! Its fun to live life this way. It takes a discipline of the soul because I may want something right now that God does not have for me yet, and in my wanting I lose on my Now with the Lord. Psalm 37.4 "Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desire of your heart." Learning to Delight in God has nothing to do with my condition, or location, but has everything to do with the availability of my soul.... I think the other can happen also where there is so much "godly activity" in my life that it substitutes for this communion. We can be very self-sufficient in our routines, and even be commended by people for what we are doing in the ministry, but is it communion in the now. Activity can never substitute communion in the now. I think as believers God shows us this for our maturing. We all need to learn this truth. "God is not a shot in the arm." When i need a quick fix i pay a visit to him to get what i need to run around and do what i am suppose to do for the Lord. "Lord give me peace now in my life cause i need it to do what i need to do for you" and as soon we get it I am off to the races "Doing". We can receive life from him that solves our problem then so easily go off and do my own thing in the ministry. God doesnt want a periodical visit, what kind of relationship is that. He wants to consume us and be our life, and that only comes from communing with him face to face in my days. This is where we learn stability in life. That i am able to say " I am content in the now, because my savior lives and he is the source of my life." And when the desire comes, it is awesome also, but it did not take away from my "God is here now."
God has been giving us his life and teaching us this truth here in Peru!!! Things have been going amazing in Trujillo. I have been away for a little over a week but I am heading back on tuesday, and I am very excited about seeing the men there. God has given disciples already. It amazes me that they have a capacity to listen and a real desire to get to know God. and it was really God just bringing them in.. Most every night we do evangelism in the square before our Bible study. We have seen great results from one on one conversations and street preaching. One night i was walking with Andras from Hungary, in the square, and we were praying for one man that had a desire to hear the gospel. I said to Andras, "The entire time I have been living in this city I have met only one person that has spoken english, but lets pray for one." What do u know but about 10 seconds later we met Anthony. We said to him, "Do you speak english", and he responded, "Yes". I thought thats interesting. We then asked him "What are u doing here tonight". The answer could not have been any more amazing. "I am looking for God, I am lonely and depressed and I dont know where he is." In absolute shock and excitement we said "Could we tell you?" Anthony has been with us ever since. He is a precious young man, that shows up every night to hear the word with alot of thankfullnes. With men and woman that are genuine like this God gives us messages and revelation in the word to show these young people who they are and who he is. Its been a real privelage to be living there with these people and to be apart with what God is doing. Christ is the good shepherd, and he leaves the 99 to go and find the 1. That one is Anthony, Manuel, Efriene, Melaine, Jon Marco, Leece, Elaine, Royal, Jimmy, Julianna, Tio, Cindy, Pastor Julio and me. Its awesome to be apart of what God is doing "Now." Be praying for more people to be open to the salvation in Jesus Christ. We dont preach religion, we preach a living God who loves and seeks the lost. We just got the word the other day that we have a man of God that wants to support our radion program that will be reaching 1 million people in the city. We plan to start this week or next. We will be trying to do it 2 times a week in hr. slots. We will just be letting the gospel ring out to the people of Trujillo.... I will keep it updated on the latest, be praying for it... Thanks to all, for your prayers, love and support, and your comments, always love to see them.. Thanks uncle Bob for checking it out, and I will definatly try to hook up with Corey when he is down here. he is coming in the day before i head back to the states, so i will get to see him. I was actually just up where he is going a few months ago. Sweet place, he will love it....... God is good to us!!!

YOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! Its allmost a Yr. since the last Posting
I decided today, to make a post in the blogging world after a yr of not writing. but I am thinking that everyone has given up on looking at this thing but mabey there is someone...
The Quick news is that Things in Peru are going very well. I am at the moment in a city about 8 hrs. north of Lima called Trujillo. Not the easiest to pronounce, because however you are pronouncing it right now is probably incorrect, I am sorry to say. Its one word, like many, that doesnt flow of the tongue to easy, buts that ok, i just chose to botch it, u can join me... I have been up here for about 1 month, making weekly trips back to Lima for 2 days to teach in the Bible school and be with the church and team. I am living with a Peruvian family, which has been great for learning the language. No one in the house or pretty much in the city speaks english, so it definatly forces your brain to try to convert into a different way of thinking. Its coming little by little...
The man I am with here has been making the same trip I have been making for the last 3 yrs coming to our Bible college. He is really a faithful man of God with our heart for the message of Grace to be preached in his country. P.Stan, He and I have a vision for this city of over 1 million, so Julio and I have been doing evangelism in the main square 5 times a week in the evening. We evangelize and invite people to his house for a Bible study 4 times a week and a service which we do Sunday mornings. WE have had people coming out and have a faithful group of young guys. We are praying for young diciples that really have a heart to follow the Lord. Lydia's heart was opened in Acts 16 by the lord and she was touched by the word preached. We are believing that this is going to happen here... WE are excited about God's work and the message being preached here, people are Hungry.....
Be praying also for us being able to be on Radio. We met with an owner of one of the Radio stations today, and it looks like we will be able to be on 2 times a week. There is also the possibility to be on local TV. So we will see how God uses that. Just pray for the funding for it. Its fun to see God opening and closing doors. Its his work, we can just relax, be spirit filled and see God do it... Thanks for the prayers,
God Bless,
P. Justin
