We Made it to the Jungle
We had a great time with our our friends in the jungle town of massamarre. Its a town of a few thousand in the high lands of the jungle. We had a few american missionaries go there in the begginning of March to spend 6 weeks with our GGWO Pastor, Pastor Jorge. They went with the mission of supporting him in the work of the ministry, teaching preaching evangelizing. While they have been there they have started a radio show that reaches greater massamarre with the gospel message. They go on air 2x a week for an hour. Each hour only 4 us dollars the guys have taken advantage of the cheap air waves and are loving it. DJ tim delouis starts the show off with his ipod in hand with a couple sweet hillsong jams and an introduction to the show. P.Stambo then takes over for the hour. This episode i was able to preach the gospel for 30 min, and God was faithful to communicate his love very clearly. It was awesome. after the show I had alot of peace in my heart just knowing the God is really with me in my Life. sometimes we have this feeling very strongly that God is with us every step of the way. That is amazing!!!!!! We spent the next few days with the church preaching and evangelizing, they have a church of 15 to 20 people and they are hungry to hear the things of God.....
Ann and I got an afternoon where we snuck away and rented a little 200cc motorcycle. Stambo showed me a little place were they rent them out for the hour. $1.50 an hour. another 2 bucks for some gas and we took off for a few hours. Cruising (slowly, dont worry parents) down the dirt roads on the outskirts of massamarre. We had beautiful weather to putt along from small village to village. We stopped a few times to take a couple pics and say hello to the locals. We had such a good time talking and laughing as we rode along the curvy roads.
We left on Thursday morning to go back to Lima, but on the way we stopped off at another one of our churchs in the town of oxapampa. pastor ceasesr is pastoring this church in the mountains about 6,000ft up. When we arrived he had a grill in the front yard and he was grilling up steak and chicken. We spent a few hours with him and his church. He is an excited man, and always ready with enthusiasm for the mission God has for him there in the Mountains of Peru. We got back on the road to lima in the late afternoon. We climbed the Andes through the evening and night and arrived back definatley ready for bed around 1am. The ride to and from the jungle is an interesting one. The heighest we get is about 15,000ft and i dont think you have a straight strip of road more then 100yds at any point. Its curvy and swarvy all the way there, but man is it beautiful. There were 8 of us from lima that made the trip. We really had a great time!!!!!!
Be praying for our churchs in the Jungles of peru in your prayers, It is an awesome work that God is doing there, and you are apart of it. Thank you for the prayers for both Ann margaret and I...

La Drama
Sunday night we had the opening night of our Easter play, directed by Julianna timofte, one of our team members here in peru. she wrote and directed the play and she did a fantastic job. We have had the play for the last 3 nights in the church. Every night it has been packed out with church members and first time visoters. Tonight we had a whole bus load of students from a christian school on the other side of lima come and watch, and they loved it. People have been responding to the salvation message, and have been receiving Christ every night, Praise the Lord!!!! Ann and I are helping out behind the scenes this year doing the lighting. We are light technicians, sounds good... Julianna actually asked both of us to be in the play but both of us weasled our ways out of it, we rather be behind the scenes... The night ann was asked to be in the play she came up to me and said "Hey guess what? Julianna wants me to be an angel in the play, I said no but told her i could do something else so i am doing the lights". I said " Hm, thats interesting she asked me too, but she wanted me to be a demon, and I said thats a great offer Jules but i think i will pass on to something else." So she made me the spot light guy, which i am digging more. Both of us are liking are jobs... Its been alot of fun working together with everyone, we have a great group of young peruvians that are doing such a good job acting. The whole team is apart of the play in some degree, so its been good times... I will put some pics up on here from the play. I havent taken any yet but we have one more coming up on saturday so i will make sure too take some pics and post them.... Ann is taking off tommorow morning with the girls for a couple days.. there taking a trip to some place 5 hours south of lima. Adriane witt is in town, which has been great, so they are hitting the road for some sun and sand boarding in the south. they will have a good time. Then they are back for anns bday, friday night. we are having a cook out with the church over at p.stan and karens house, and we will have a party for ann margaret too... she is pummped about it... I just wanted to put a quick , what we are up too , on the blog. Everything is going really awesome, God is blessing us tremendously. Thanks you Jesus..

Trujillo Church Renovation Project
We had a great weekend with the church in trujillo this weekend. Awesom time evangelizing, preaching, fellowshiping and of course eating. We usually have our late night bbq (peruvian style) Saturday nights after outreach.... We posted a few pics of the before and after of our church in trujillo. Ann Mar did a great job decorating and planning it out. It really came out nice and really change the feel of the room. The people in the church loved it. I liked the huge world map that we had made, the map came out great, its awesome. Jung Ill and I put up the little white sticky dots on the map sat. night, we havent finished yet cause we are trying to locate where all of our ggwo church's are exactly, we are getting there.... Ann and I have been busy with Bible college classes, english teaching, services, outreaches, traveling to trujillo and being with the team. The days are clicking and have been such a joy for both of us. God is blessing our time together and with the church.
He is speaking to us and ministering to us in different ways, prepairing us for the future. We know that life is one big classroom where God is teaching us about himself through so many different people, relationships, jobs, activities, and of course the word.. I love the thought that God is never done with us or that we ever graduate or drop out of his will. He is allways working in us and teaching us about how to be succesful in the future. I know that we are learning so much more then we were before this time. Learning through our failures and our success. God is so amazing and his grace is always covering us. Thank you so much for your prayers and support, you are just as much apart really of the work here and we appreciate you working together with us.. God bless
